| Col d'Agnes | ||||
| A very high friction road surface leaving Aulus les Bains sapped the last of our energy, so we stopped to watch the sunset. | ||||
| The next morning was cold (again), travelling West-East and stopping on the ascent (the west side) of a Col would mean that we'd never wake to beautiful sunshine :( | ||||
| By this stage in a tour, you are fit enough to converse on the uphills, maintain a regular breathing pattern and admire the scenary! | ||||
| Last minute checks at the summit of Col d'Agnes before a descent. Ensuring that everything loose is tied down, brakes function, and protective eyewear and helmet is put on. | ||||
| A glorious sight - another Pyreneen descent! | ||||
Hmmm. what was that about the helmet? Don't do as I did! We continued towards the Etang de Lers, Vicdessos and over the Port de Lers. |
