This is only a small climb up Col de Latrape (~600m above Seix) and the river Alet by the roadside provided welcome refreshment. There are many skiing chalets, as the route took us past Guzet-Neige.

We refused a lift from a local farmer, and descended into Aulus-les-Bains where we ate a Pyrenean feast of sausage and beans. After the meal we set off for the Col d'Agnes.
