Well, we went this way, but I was so tired and it was so dark that I have no good photos! We went up on the road, up and up to 2400m (higher than we had been a few hours earlier when we couldn't believe how far we'd have to descend from the Col de la Vanoise!).

I was not pleased that there was another climb before arriving at Lanslebourg! Hands were feeling the cold and clothes were wet through as we passed la Chaviere.

The descent was fast and interesting, both my clothes and the road became drier as we descended... it was actually quite warm in Termignon! The river l'Arc, visible from the roadside towards Lanslebourg, seemed to flow uphill. Quite curious.

Tomorrow we climb the Col du Mont Cenis in the daylight!
